It all started during the early 1830's when architect Phillip Hardwick designed the 'Curzon Street Station'. Once the oldest railway terminus in the world, the station was the centre of trade and industry across the nation. However, the station soon came to a standstill and closed its doors in 1966.
In 2018 a new era for the building had begun, renamed the Hardwick Hotel the building has been converted into a historic destination which allows guests from all over the globe to stay. Keeping the name 'Hardwick' we have made it our mission to develop our guests knowledge on the heritage of Birmingham and Britain as a whole while creating a memorable experience. Keeping a historic theme throughout the hotel, while having the state of the art technology to help us do so allows us to remain competitive and aids us in achieving our mission ; To become the leading hotel in the Tourism industry, dedicated to proving an historic experience.
Our strategy: Hardwick Hotel aims to become the go-to hotel for tourists travelling to Birmingham. Creating fascinating experiences for our guests, while offering unbeaten prices.
